As you adjust the height of the seat back, the head and torso side impact protections also adjusts, ensuring your child's maximum safety. Simply unsnap to remove one or all of the sections of the seat that needs cleaning (headrest, torso or seat).

Installation: The Solution X-fix is equipped with ISOFIX Connect (aka rigid LATCH) and connects to your vehicle's LATCH system in seconds. The reclining backrest and pivoting, extendable arms of the rigid LATCH adjust to accommodate the angle and depth of the vehicle seat for the most accurate fit possible. A benefit of rigid LATCH, as opposed to flexible lower anchor hooks, is that they are the standard width apart as the Lower Anchor connectors in your vehicle, eliminating the risk for misuse in non-approved LATCH seating positions. The secure install of the Solution X-fix keeps it from becoming a projectile in the event of an accident, whether occupied or not.

The included CYBEX LATCH Guides help direct the Lower Anchor connectors of your Solution X-fix to the Lower Anchors of your vehicle for a fast and easy install. The best part about the LATCH Guides is they can remain in your vehicle! No more sliding your hand in the crack of the seat searching for the Lower Anchors. To uninstall the CYBEX booster, pull the lever located under the front of the booster car seat and extend the Solution X-fix away from the vehicle seat. Once extended, push the red triggers found on the LATCH connectors at the back of the seat and disengage the connectors.

Please be aware that some vehicles Lower Anchors are positioned on the OUTSIDE of the vehicle seat belt connectors. When that's the case, it is not possible to use LATCH with this booster car seat because it will not allow access to buckle in the vehicle seat belt while in use. The Solution X-fix can also be used without LATCH. Simply flip up the Lower Anchor connectors of the booster and slide them into the base of the seat for storage.

Note: Your vehicle may state a set weight limit for its LATCH anchors (40 or 48 lbs). This weight limit does NOT apply to booster seats with LATCH because the Lower Anchors on a booster seat are only intended to secure the weight of the booster seat itself (approximately 15 lbs in this case). The vehicle's lap and shoulder belts secure the weight of the child; because of this, you can use LATCH with the Solution X-fix up to 100 lbs.
